  HX-9212 wire trim edge cutting tape contains a nylon filament,Made of PET and coating with acrylic adhesive on both sides, clear, very easy to operate, good durability, high temperature withstanding, strong adhesion, waterproof.

  HX-9212 Edge cutting tape incorporates a thin, transparent, double-sided tape for simple, precise placement.

  The multi-purpose acrylic glue addresses the need for faster, non residue  removal.

  Trim a wide variety of spraying coatings, from moderate durometer polyurethane to high durometer polyureas.

  The release liner is a similar silicon-treated paper used, while the tape itself is thin and flexible. The advantage of this product is fast, residue-free removal when de-masking.

Advantages

  Conforms easily to compound curves and tight corners.A high-strength braided cutting filament is located securely along the outer edge of the adhesive surface and the all new nylon line is traverse-wound on a plastic spool to prevent damage from rough handling and common workplace contaminants.

  Offers excellent cutting strength, and cuts through thick non-abrasive coatings.This method produces a perfect edge without leaving a mark or in any way damaging the exposed surface or disturbing the adhesion of the new coating.

  After applying a coating, the braided nylon filament is pulled upwards from beneath the new coating, achieving a clean cut from the bottom up, separating the masking material and tape for easy removal from the border of the new coating.

Usage manual

  1. Position the tape with the nylon wire bearing edge along the desired trim line

  2. Spray polyurethane/polyurea coating 

  3. Pull the nylon wire out and through the coating
